Sometimes you just got to get away from it all, get a reminder that no matter how big the human race gets, nature will always overpower. Ive always looked to nature to help heal, put me in my place, but finding the solitude to receive nature's full effect is becoming harder and harder it seems if you are on a trail or path of any sort. So lately have been searching out places that either have never been seen or have been long forgotten as nature has taken back its claim. Sometimes those places are several hundred yards off the beaten path or sometimes they are like this place, miles away from the end of logging roads that havent been used in decades and most of the way barely show signs they ever existed. Every now and then I'll venture out in places similar and not have such an amazing prize at the end or along the way, but this place did not disappoint as it held one of the best waterfalls I've come across in the Mt Baker Wilderness. After hours of bushwacking, scrambling, rock hopping and soaking in the power and mist of the falls and creek..this place gave me the healing I was looking for.
