The last night of a 5 day excursion to some spots in Oregon landed me at Bandon Beach. Sitting in the motel during a cloudless sky, we headed down to the beach as the sun started getting close to the horizon and the clouds started appearing out of nowhere. Sunset was pretty fantastic and though there may have been better color looking more to the north, i got lucky with the way the clouds made a hole for the haystack to place itself, that and looking to the north meant bumping shoulders with the several photo groups that were there. from here i felt like i was out there with the ocean all on my own.
