mt baring shedding some of its clouds to give me a little show..one that didnt last long. the heybrook lookout trail is one that I've driven by too many times to count. a week or so before this scene i made a spontaneous "sunset" journey up. by the time i got out to the trail and up to the view point, the clouds had rolled in for the night, blocking any chance for a show. on this morning, i was just driving over steven's pass to visit my dad. the clouds were thick and i actually drove pass this spot to head for some waterfalls along the way. a little higher up in elevation i noticed the clouds were starting to dissipate..i nixed the falls that ive been to numerous times and ran up the short but steep trail..then up the 8 or so flights of stairs up the tower! caught my breath while enjoying the wonderful show of dancing clouds around mt baring. the show ended after about minutes and the "dissipating" clouds reverse and cloaked any views until the east side of the mountains.
